参加方法

以下、メイルアドレスが「youraccount@example.com」の場合で説明します。

フォームへの入力

http://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/webadmin-japanese/ に行くと、

Webadmin-japanese -- Webmin Japanese translation discussion

という画面が出ます。

そのペイジの中央付近に、

Subscribing to Webadmin-japanese

Subscribe to Webadmin-japanese by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a public list, which means that the members list is openly available (but we obscure the addresses so they are not easily recognizable by spammers).

Your email address:

You must enter a privacy password. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext.

Pick a password:

Reenter password to confirm:

Would you like to receive list mail batched in a daily digest? No Yes

という項目があるので、というように、あなたのメイルアドレスを半角英数字で入れてください。

次に、適当なパスワードを決めて次の二つに入れてください。

なお、このパスワードは設定変更するときに必要になりますので、忘れないようにしてください。
メイルを1日単位でまとめて受け取りたい場合は、

Would you like to receive list mail batched in a daily digest? No Yes

にしてください。

最後にを押せば、入力したメイルアドレス宛に、確認のメイルが送られます。

参加確認

webから「Subscribe」を押すと、

- maintain the subject line as is (the reply's additional "Re:" is
ok),

- or include the following line - and only the following line - in the
message body: 

confirm ******

(Simply sending a 'reply' to this message should work from most email
interfaces, since that usually leaves the subject line in the right
form.)

If you do not wish to subscribe to this list, please simply disregard
this message.  Send questions to
webadmin-japanese-admin@lists.sourceforge.net.

というメイルが送られてきます。
このメイルに返信をしてください。
なお、返信時に気を付けないといけない事が二つあります。

サブジェクトは、
Subject: Webadmin-japanese -- confirmation of subscription -- request ******
にしておかないといけない。(頭に「Re: 」はOK)
本文は、
confirm ******
のみ。

これで、参加は完了です。しばらくすると、

is also a button on your options page that will email your current
password to you.

You may also have your password mailed to you automatically off of the
Web page noted above.
